The availability of reliable water access solutions for smallholder farmers
There are around half a billion smallholders in the world who mostly rely on rain-fed irrigation and have no access to grid-electricity.
It is known that introducing irrigation on these smallholdings has the capacity to more than triple the farmers’ incomes.
Most existing solutions are too costly, unreliable and low-quality, or incompatible with the water conditions on these smallholdings.
Sustainable water access solutions for community water
There are an estimated 2 billion people – a quarter of the global population – living without access to safe water.
WHO and UNICEF predict that it will cost at least $114 billion (USD) per year to achieve universal access to safe drinking water and basic sanitation services by 2030.
Traditional hand pumps and many solar pumps are unreliable, costly to maintain and incur recurrent annual losses.
Our pumps offer water access for farmers with greatly superior reliability and value for money compared to other options on the market.

Technology cannot solve the world’s water access problems, on its own or overnight.
But, as our existing solutions demonstrate, technological advancements can underpin lasting, sustainable and meaningful change.
Our product development plans are ambitious and impactful. They include products to transform the economics of chlorination to bring affordable clean and safe water where it is currently beyond reach (see below).
Expanding Our Existing Ranges
Our existing products are exceptionally versatile. However, there can never be a ‘one size fits all’ with water access solutions.
Knowing this, we are working on expanding our product ranges to create variations that will cater to different needs and be suited to even more varied environments.
This will enable us to expand the scenarios in which our game-changing solutions can be used, allowing even more people to benefit from our transformative technologies.

With a wealth of expertise and a team of some of the greatest minds in the field, we continue to look for innovative ways to transform water access solutions for the better.
At the moment, our team is developing water access solutions aimed at addressing some of the most demanding challenges in the water access field, including safer water from low cost chlorination.
